She looked so well in the pictures and somebody gave her flowers for her hair, she looked more like herself then - it was very poignant to watch.

She is a truly courageous woman imo thumbs up

That Candapparolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Enjoyed it, thanks!
I guess getting old can feel as being in prison if one doesn't open their minds while aging. Old lasts forever.I'll prepare myself for a joyful old existence. uhuhdancing dog

Aung San a heroine indeed! Still 2200 of other political prisioners though.
Her release should signifie a deal of a change , assuming that no such release is exercided without negotiation. They all know she'd rather rot in prison if democracy isn't delivered...

From listening to the news, they say her release is unconditional, if so, then surely she will be able to travel, if she wants to.

Also, I wonder if the Burmese Embassy will issue her son with a visa so he can be reunited with his mother? As they have declined this in the past.

Yep, but its one thing leaving the country and a totally different matter to get back in - she is going to have to play a clever game to keep the junta happy this time.......

I hope she will rather stay and fight if she still has such a big support. The reunion with her mother is an easy game if she succeed, comparing with what she could offer to the nation.
