I am very conflicted about this to be honest. From the things I have learned by doing self research, I have found that honestly, hospitals make too much profit and there is no guarantee really where your body goes, and for what research it goes towards.
I wouldn't mind so much if I could guarantee it to a certain institution AND cause. But alot of places sell excess corpses to other research groups for their research & for profit.

after contacting the scientific institution in charge..
they advised me if I bother them again..
I'd be arrested..

Okay, to be serious for a minute:
It's a good idea, why not. Would save my relatives the burial costs and I'm sure I'd care very little about what happens to me once I'm dead.
One thing though: I've told all my relatives and friends that, should I ever be on life support and the doctors advise to flip the switch, my organs (whatever is usable) should be donated. I've got a donor card too. It would be nice to think that I've helped someone else after my death.
