My friends smart ar*e boyfriend is coming out as well. He thinks he is so funny but he is the only one who actually laughs at his jokes (which are usually at the expense of others). The last time he came out I had to tell him that 'I could do with out being man handled'.

Perhaps you need to stand back a bit. Do you resent him coming between you and your friend and are you fighting for her attention? I've been on both sides of that particular problem. But you really need to be honest with yourself if that is the case.

Oh god, that's not the case at all. His smart comment are always personal and offensive and he has no right to man handle me. He is a very rude person who always passes inappropriate comments etc. He just isn't the type of person I like to spend time with.

A swift kick in the goolies will sort that out. You shouldnt have to put up with that so don't let him.

I sympathise. I work with a girl like that. It's got to the stage that if she is going to a function I just don't go.
I know I shouldn't let her stop me but she annoys me so much I would be afraid that, after a few drinks, I might retaliate and say something I might regret.
