I don't think romance is dead. It's just something that not all people are into. I myself, have my romantic spurts. Kinda depends on the other person too. If the guy Im with is also romantic then I'll be more romantic but if the guy isn't romantic, then I'll still be romantic once in a while but not as much.
As far as a romantic evening, almost anything that allows good food, good drink (doesn't have to be alcohol) and good conversation with that special someone.
