epicure: to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all?
now for some people that is true I think and for others not.. because I have run into people who even after a decade still have not gotten over a break up and they still feel miserable..
so I guess if a person has the tendency to regret things they have done..not having loved would be better...but that is just my opinion..
cynicalorange: Also, you never have the 'what if...' thoughts.
The one kind of regret I find it hardest to live with is the regret of not daring to try for something I want. If I fail, fine. It's the what if's that scar your soul.

I think so. Without experience your growth as an individual is stiffled. However,so many make the mistake of never really learning from it. Way too shallow in our preferences me thinks.

Yes i believe it is better to love, Can you imagine going through life not knowing what being in love feels like? Sometimes things will end badly, but it cant take away that feeling of being so happy. I would gladly take the bad to experience the good.
