Trust is some thing you have to earn, once its broken its very hard to get back again.

I can forgive, because it only hurts me if i don't,it can eat a way at a person.....but forget, that would take a while if ever.

hi jus wave

I cant say I agree with you .

To truly forgave a person is to forget as well. Atleast that's how I see it.
How can you forgave and not forget what that person has done . It calls for total relinquishing of any resentment or anger you may feel for that person and I agree, its not an easy thing to do but its the only way we can learn from what happened to be able to move on.dunno

I have always been told by a very wise Sunday School Teacher, that if U have not forgotten then U have not forgiven....If when the memory of the incident causes U pain, then forgiveness has not taken place. Once U have truly forgiven a person, God will take away the pain...Always sounded bout right to me....sighhhh

I dont think the forget really means forget! I think it means forgive and dont hold it against the wrongdoer! like keep bringing up what someone has done wrong after u forgive them
