scary stuff.. I always bought my kids up to shout ur not my dad if anyone approaced them but in fairness the kid on the video didnt sound especially genuine and realistic.

You're right. She didn't plus she kept repeating the same thing over again. I do think that more people should have checked though. Better to be safe than sorry......JMO.

I tried it once..just as a matter of curiosity with my daughter..and maybe my daughter was more convincing or maybe in the Uk people are more alert but it didnt take 2 minutes before someone intervened.
But now they say its best to shout fire as more people respond..sad world really isnt it!

This is a good thread.
Unfortunately in USA, you can be sued or put in Jail if you try to help another. Especially CPR to the injured because if you are not a professional that does these things, they feel that that you may cause further injury or you may invade another’s privacy.
This needs to change because there are only moments between life and death.
