I am rubbish at DIY but thanks to a new concise online course - I am now a veritable expert at being handy around the home ...

There are 3 essential tools:
duct tape
WD40 and
a hammer

If something is moving and it shouldn't be, duct tape it. If it isn't moving and it should be, use WD40. If it still doesn't move, hit it with a hammer. If it breaks, tape it back together with the duct tape.

I'm off to buy a jigsaw next weekend dancing

sure I'm half convinced it was built with wattle and daub - duct tape is both strengthening and insulating and a damn sight easier than re plastering ... roll eyes
