First heard Bat on the radio and used to crank it up to 2 decibels as Mum objected to the word "Hell" Wouldn't let us order the record from the Record Club. Many years later when cassettes came on the market and I was old enough to own a car, I had it in the car and could crank it. Still love it on full volume. I forget myself, things were happening a bit different in NZ in those days when FC Holdens cost more in NZ than new HKs here in Oz
