kizzy27: Fillet of firm fish , flathead or breams good even shark
cut into cubes and thread onto skewers with capsiucm , red onion ,pinapple
marinate in 1 small can of coconut milk 1 tbspsoon of plum sause 3 tbspoons of sweet chilli sause juice from the pinnaple tin
I make about 24 on small skewers soak skewers in cold water first
leave in the fridge a few hours then bbq drizzle over the mariade while cooking till all used
just before serving squeeze over a fresh lime (still in the bbq )
serve with salad and fresh lemon wedges ...mmmmm

Will have to try this one next time I have ppl over for a BBQ

And the three peas reminds me that as humans we eat corn and 5 days later it comes out.

Not into squid that much. I do a mean chicken on the bbq marinated in soy honey and garlic for at least 48 hours. I even do dessert on the bbq slice the skin of a banananana stuff with choc chips and cook untill black on the out side.

for a meal in a hurry

a tin of Stagg Chilli heated in a bowl in the microwave
a dollop of sour cream on top
a dollop of mashed avocado on top (optional but I recommend you have it)
chopped shallot on top
packet of corn chips to dip into the chilli


and dip away grin
