Alot of people don't want to face themselves,reflect on themselves, because they've built layers of masks...a false self...
and its hard to take off the masks sometimes...and discover who they are.
And what's even scarier for them,is if somebody else sees through their mask,and sees them for who they really are.
It's always easier to reflect on yourself though if you have somebody who sees behind your mask,helps you take it off,and loves you anyways.

What makes you think I think I'm better than you? The fact that maybe I learned a few lessons in life - through turmoil and pain, the fact that I have lived heartache and hurt, the fact that I have been through 2 break ups and managed to still stand on my own two feet, the fact that I gave up on living for everyone else and started thinking of me for a change, the fact that I have been hurt and have hurt, the fact that I am doing all I can to better myself as an individual and better the lives of my children...........????
