PG 2 line 10 is driving directions. line 13 are GPS coordinates. It look like he writes in short hand. ie: line 10 reads (26 mlse 74 sprks) witch means (26 miles east on 70/40 spur to KANSAS. then north to route 173 or 175 I can read the number turn Right going SE.) he has very detailed driving directions. I plan like this when I travel. Line 12 is 651 miles to destination.

With a little help from other people like yourself you could probably read the whole thing and find out who killed this person.

Did you do ANY research at all, or just skim this and then post it? This note was written by THE VICTIM!!
The FBI (12 yrs.later?!?!?) are NOW hoping a friend or acquaintance may recognize or understand SOMETHING in it to give them a 'frame of mind' or clue to who/where he might of been prior to death.

I didn't think I would have to headline the post as serious. It was my mistake to think that everyone would think murder is serious.

The notes were found on the victim. Nowhere in the article does it say the notes were written by the victim. The request is for help deciphering the notes, not to figure out who wrote them.

No I didn't do any research. I read the article. It said they were asking the public for help to decipher the notes and that's when I thought of the men on CS. There are men on CS who are brillant in many areas of expertise.

The FBI is good at what they do and frankly I am surprised that they are stuck on this. They were also stuck for many years on who the Unabomber was and they might still be stuck on that one if it wasn't for his brother.

I am the one who made the mistake posting the letter on a singles site. I did it because there are very intelligent people here and the community on CS are friendly people who help each other when we have a bad day as Kaybee did acouple days ago or we ask each other "what would you do if". Life isn't all about getting your giggy on.

Someday the notes will be read by the FBI or a hacker or maybe even Stephen Hawkins . The person has been laid to rest for many years but I think the family might like to have closure if they knew who killed their loved one.
