REFLECTIONS OF MY LIFE, by the group The Marmalade, a song back in 69/70. Marmalade as a group was founded as Dean Ford And The Gaylords in 1963. They enjoyed little success in England, and changed their name to Marmalade after signing to CBS in 1967.
REFLECTIONS OF MY LIFE ~ The Marmalade "The changing of sunlight to moonlight Reflections of my life, oh, how they fill my eyes The greetings of people in trouble Reflections of my life, oh, how they fill my mind
All my sorrows, sad tomorrows Take me back to my own home All my cryings (all my cryings), feel I'm dying, dying Take me back to my own home (oh I'm going home)
I'm changing, arranging, I'm changing I'm changing everything, ah, everything around me
The world is a bad place, a bad place A terrible place to live, oh, but i don't wanna die." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Are you saying I'm just discounting you? If you are, I'll gladly show you the comparison you overlooked, probably intentionally. You look for ways to take shots at what I say, and I'm finally replying to it. If you don't like it, don't reply to what I say. As for screwing myself, must you resort to something inflammatory when the discussion isn't going how you want it to?
My point with the psycho comment wouldn't have worked if I used you as an example, you would have rationalized with him/her then offered tea and a backrub. The point was simple - one in a position of power who isn't all there perhaps shouldn't be in the position they are with the authority they hold - Dictator + nuke .. Psycho teacher + children
dictator + nuke in no way is the same as psycho + MY children.
i'm not taking shots at what you say...i'm pointing out that just because one disagrees with you, it does NOT make their arguments or points invalid.
you are NOT the be all and end all, rich...no matter what world you live in inside that skull of yours.
inflammatory? you implied that my thought processes weren't working properly and that i should 'drink some coffee'. as to 'finally replying to it'...i put up with your little snarky comments for quite some time.
my opinion...is valid. just because it isn't YOURS...does not make it wrong...
ummmm..... my 2 cents..... I always find it interesting when Americans stress that they can be trusted with nukes but nobody else can.... Question: Who is the only nation to ever use a nuclear weapon?
America can not go into North Korea since it is too busy protecting the oil pipelines slated to and running thru Afghanistan and protecting their oil interests in Iraq. Just like nearly every other conflict the US has been involved in since the 70's.
N. Korea doesn't have oil and that's why the US refused to sit down with them directly which allowed this to happen. More amazing American foreign policy. Especially since the Bush 2 era.
As for wackos with nukes. Israel scares the hell out of me and so does India and Pakistan yet we haven't had the scares we've had with the US and Russia.
N. Korea has seen the help provided to Afghanistan and Iraq and thought it best to pursue nukes before the US 'helped' them.
...I would add. If you wish to understand the reasoning behind all of this dig a little deeper than CNN or NBC.... Just a thought
....there's a difference between testing a nuke underground and testing it on a few hundred thousand innocent people. Also, every nuclear power has tested there weapons.
Uranium is not a commodity that the US needs. Oil is a commodity that the US needs and will overturn governments in pursuit of it.
The US could have avoided N. Korea testing its nukes if it had sat down and held direct talks with N. Korea but since N. Korea doesn't have any oil there was no need for the US to speak directly with them.
...and btw I think the quote is 'Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.'
Perhaps what Domino's was trying to say regarding CNN and NBC is that these news agencies are American based stations.....hence American influenced point of view? Domino could you clarify?
The Bush administration has done an amazing job of cutting the balls from the press. Only granting access to reporters and agencies that share their point of view and say what the administration wants said. I would have you go to you tube and watch the recent interview with Bill Clinton.
