Not empty by any means, data indicates more than enough means and motive for them to do so. If they get a stupid idea to try, they'll get sorted quickly. We have over 32k troops in South Korea alone right now, not including what's in the air and on ships chillin' in the water, just waiting.

I remember when I was a kid there was a song that said,"The world is a bad place,a bad place a terrible place to live, but I don't want to die,all my sorrow"that's what I think about today's world.

If one leaves the pad, there is clearance for return fire in those regards from what's been said. I don't think they're stupid enough to do so, and I wish our president would take the pro-active approach discussed by the UN and remove the silos by force before it gets to that point.

As king of the world, I say that North Korea is totally messed up, and its leader should be hit in the head with a rock, then get a hair cut!peace

National security, we have backing from the UN - I fully back this one, unlike the Iraq incident. This one has much behind it that the Iraqi bit didn't, and there are many countries besides us that would take major losses if North Korea chose to start making its neighbors glow in the dark.

The phrase "Nut with a nuke" comes to mind, and I'll be damned - we need to stop him before he ends up wiping out 100's of thousands of people and contaminating hundreds if not thousands of miles of land with fallout.

War is an awful thing, but Professor has a point..the leader is insane and needs a good "whipping" hes like a cry baby always wanting attention, and now that he has nuclear "toys" he can get any countries attention or "boom", and that scares the hell outta me.

Being an outside perspective, myself not living in the US ( and by the way i love Americans and many Canadians think so too) i have to agree with Nwnstar's point of view.

As i once heard someone say before...... "Make Love, Not War"

You obviously haven't, or you'd know he's threatened almost 20 countries close to him who are incapable of defending themselves.

I fail to see how being aggressive has anything to do with what I said, was a good diversion from the questions I asked you though, kudos. wink cheers

the questions you asked have nothing to do with the topic at hand...you asked them to provoke an emotional response, and therefore i disregarded them.

i'm well aware of what's going on...i still stand by my opinion.

No, I wasn't trying to provoke an emotional response, if I was I wouldn't have used the examples I did. I was trying to prove that most don't like the idea of a suicide bomber being close to them - a direct parallel to the N. Korean dictator with nukes and having no qualms about using them. I was hoping you'd see that, but I guess it wasn't the case.

I think everyone is concerned...

The testing done resulted in something similar to Hiroshima...

Something to worry about..

Anyone I can borrow a rock drill from? I live on a rocky hill and need to drill to make myself a cave for cover...
