biggles90000: Ti be honest with yea Lynx i don't think MI5 is all that concerned about the alright they be in big operations when the Queen visits Ireland but the have more concerns with Muslim terrorist in Afghanistan and Iraq at the moment like the Al Qaeda is a bigger threat to British national security theses days.

The biggest threat to the UK mainland regarding terror is Irish terrorism not Islamic fundementalists.

Unfortunatly it's only a matter of time before one goes 'pop' in the UK mainland.

Absolutely they're not concerned! I was being sarcastic! The Brits don't give a damn about the North one way or another. Republicans can't accept the fact that the people of the North don't want to join with us down here so they blame the Brits instead, in particular groups like MI5. Republicans live in a dream world because they don't want to face up to reality, that a united Ireland is not feasable.

JustLittleMe: Were there massive peaceful marches in the 60's, 70's and 80's? Marches where both sides stood together in unity and stood up to terrorists?

And their were marches for the hunger strikers too...And what happened there...10 men died who shouldn't have been forced to starve themselves to death died. And for what??? To further some peoples political careers....And they( hunger strike marches) also marched for and end to violence & equality...

And marching then didn't change a thing. Neither will marching today, tomorrow or next week wont made one blind bit of difference.

If any off you lot are really intrested in the the level of division in the 6 counties today fast foward to about 10mins of the video and listen to Baroness May Blood and her views from a protestant side...She say's something similar to me...Tackle the root causes not make silly sound bites...Because there is a very angry loyalist community who rightly so( as in their complaints-anger) haven't seen much of the so called dividends from the GFA.....

The 6 counties can't afford to keep themselves. The only way it stays a float is the money (billions per yr) westminster give. Neither can the south.

But together as a unit, one nation we could very easy...

Personally I think you spout nothing but bitterness and vile hatred, and chose to dwell in the past to suit your own twisted agenda.

No, I wont, I have no interest in listing to something that isn't relevant to trying to create peace.

Hopefully you'll read this (I'll paraphase)....She basically said..

Unless you tackle the root causes of the violence on both sides it WILL start again....Not by sticking you head in the sand as you are doing.

Yeah, if there was a united Ireland we could give the north a few billion per year no problem, after all we have more money down here than we know what to do with!

Snowy you missed the point again...If Ireland was united it would make economic sense...That means defaulting on the IMF..and do what Putain did with the oil companies there....The debt would be paid off before it went to court.

Means more money for everyone and that means the problem of poverty can begin to be sorted. Not only will it help take the gun away..But it will make your streets safer too. If people have more money in their pockets they are less likely to comit any type of crime for financial gain.
