darren9030: You would be best not reading my travel list i put on here the other day but it can be done cheaply. If you get in early & have the correct payment card ( to avoid booking fees ) flights can cost next to nothing. Also cashback websites such as & others sites like can help you save money. I feel hard done by if i don't go abroad at least 8 times per year & i am certainly not rich. Think positive Orla & i'm sure you can have a nice break somewhere later in the year
I used to go away a good few times a year too ...distant memories!
I'm hoping my Mum might take pity on me and treat me to a weekend away somewhere!

I believe you... I had a very long lazy lunch in The Twelfth Lock that really warm Friday we had a couple of weeks back and it was like being in France. But I would rather the real thing!

I went to the lake district last year, got the ferry over and drove the rest of the way, to save money on accomodation I slept in my van, its the same as going camping I suppose

I used a truckers stop to have showers and shopped in ASDA, cheap holiday but fun and I saw a lot
