gardenhackle: I know damned well you don't drink more than Germans, Russians and probably even the bloody English and yet you managed to cultivate the stereotype that you were pub loving party animals that could drink the rest of lightweights from other countries under the table.
Damn was I disappointed when I visited Ireland. :( I mean, you're all very nice people from everything I could tell but the drunken parties we have here to celebrate St. Patrick's day cause us furreners to feel a little let down when we travel to the Emerald Isles. So who's your PR agent, anyway?

He passed away 2 years ago B,but he was a character and loved by many including me. My daughter gave him a fabulous send off even though he was only her step dad. Full of Irish humour and songs.He went into the church to the song "The old man"
I think its because us irish (and northern irish) are always in the pub, day in and day out, lol. Not really getting wasted everyday but we will be in the pub for breakfast lunch and dinner then a wee one after work aswell givin the chance!!!
