Do as you likies? Is that Gypsies? I would have to be careful of my own daughter then. rolling on the floor laughing

I was born and raised about 50 miles outside London of mixed parentage - a Connaught where ever I go, but picked up a few things on the way.

tip hat

One of my first away football matches watching West Ham was in Liverpool about 25 years ago. At the time i knew very little cockney rhyming slang.

I was in a takeaway when a fellow West Ham suppoter ( who i didn't know ) came in & said he needed a 'pony'. I was very worried what this food contained but needn't have worried as someone explained to me that he meant 'pony & trap' . Doesn't take a genius to work out he needed a lavatory.

Something i will never forget that laugh
