Who know Zim why these things happen, but they do...All the time male and females tell this story, and say they never saw it coming....I just don't get how someone lives with a mate and never saw the evil side of them....never suspected for one minute that they were not truly loved by their mate. Sometimes it is easier to let the chips fall, when they fall, and then deal with the mess when ur forced to.
Regardless, it is a lesson, a terrible lesson, but none the less a lesson. Be there for your friend, and assure him that all women r not like this....Good luck to u both.

There's no law against ending a relationship if you're not happy. She may well have meant it when she said she loved him but as the song goes, sometimes love just ain't enough.
Why did she end it the way she did? There's always a reason - always. Hopefully she gave him her reasons so that he has some closure. She may have tried to subtlely let him know that she wasn't happy quite a few times - women often forget that guys don't really get subtle hints. Sometimes they bottle up their disappointment and frustration until something happens and they just can't contain it anymore.
It's always ideal to try and treat the person you are breaking up with with decency and respect. If she didn't do this - and especially if she didn't give a reason for ending it - that tells him everything he needs to know.

look, we men must face the reality...women leave, the minute they find someone better, richer, more handsome,etc etc..

Yes it is a great feeling.I can go to bed tonight with both my eyes shut knowing that I didn't hurt anyone.I never have to sleep with one eye open so to speak.

Without knowing why she dumped him it is impossible to make a guess as to why she ended the relationship.Did they have any ongoing problems that they were trying to overcome? Maybe she finally decided that some problems in a relationship can't be fixed no matter how much you love each other?

You're friend will eventually get over his pain unless he refuses to let go of the hurt and anger.Most of us here have had our heart stomped on a time or two,and we are still standing.
I am glad I had my heart broken before,and am not with a certain past fiancee,because if were still together we would still be trying to hold together a relationship that was never going to work.In the end he saved me even more heart break by ending the relationship.Also if we were still together I would not presently be with my current fiancee who is a perfect match for me in every way.

Some people are not serious enough good at pretending and most important selfish. They want to do whatever they want to do at any time.It doesnt even matter if they are in relationship or not .I think your friend should be happy .At least that woman could have make him lose more time ..You dont need someone like that in your life...It is really bad luck..You cant know people exactly...
