time4fun4u: My advice...rent your house out,and rent here.That way you havnt given up the chance to return if you dont like it,plus you might want to try differant areas.Rental isnt expensive here,as its a Spanish tradition.
May came here trying to live of a small pension,but as is normal,prices go up,and thier UK pension didnt.
Others came here thinking they could work,and everyone was suddenly a builder! Come the crisis,no building work.
It is however a great place to live,but like anywhere,you have to have some sort of income.

I'm not sure about Spain for those very reasons. I've thought about Eastern Europe and even India, Africa... Lord knows... hahahaha!!!
