Honestly, I could not think of anyone here who i would assume to be more popular than another person. But then again i'm not here that long
I've noticed however, that there are some people post more than others. Maybe because they post more they can appear to be more popular?

Personally speaking i post in whatever thread i have an interest in or something to add to.Doesnt matter to me who the op is.
I wouldnt consider anyone here more popular than anyone else regarless of how many threads or posts they make...

I think you are correct there, Sam
Sometimes, those that shout loudest seem to be the most popular but I have found that isn't always true below the surface.

I have to agree with what some of the others have said. Doesn't bother me if the op is a gorgeous woman or a guy. Will respond if it's an interesting thread irrespective of op or if i think i can help ( advice etc )

Not a bad idea mate as i said before the Cs meet threads should be locked to the top of the page i think so everybody knows when there a nite out comming up.

LadyBlackAdder: I think that is possibly true that we would respond differently. It's only natural that we are affected by the personalities of those that ask the questions or raise the topic. A light hearted personality will bring in mostly light hearted responses and an argumentative personality will illicit argument.

Just doing some catching up on who posted what while I were gone and Irish your question is one I've been askin , myself that is . I'm stumped by the volume of replies some get even if it's a shamelessly juvenile thread to begin with .but some people seem to get alot more responses than others

It is true that an argumentative thread is usually much longer than any fun or light hearted thread but that doesn't make it a better thread really. As in a lot of things in life, size is no indicator of quality
