I love Shannon Airport and all my buddies and family are here too. If I was 20 years younger I would proabably move to Dublin.

Have lived in the suburbs all my life, quiet in the immediate area but a bus or taxi away from the City, always suited me fine, best of both worlds really.

i have lived in london i hated it mainly because of the area i lived in there which was all i could afford at the time i love london for weekends etc but would never live there again
i lived in small towns in ireland from laois to kerry and i think it is the town you live in that dictates whether you are have a decent life there if there are no ammeneties then it can be very monotonous local clubs and good public transport or commuting to big towns or cities can be a god send
but having lived in dublin most of my life i would love to have a country home self sufficient wind power solar panels own well growing own food etc
city life is getting more and more expensive and in years to come the roles in this conversation will be reversed
city people will be asking for the quiet independant life
