let's for the sake of it say time travel was possible, you would never know if interfering with something that has already happened would have a positive or negative effect on today's reality. what's happened as happened, but just from a history buff's geeky obsession, i would love to be there to witness these things unfold.

Ok, i get what your saying, and all credit to you for not wanting to change the course of history...But, and heres the kicker, say you were able to get behind the truth of who killed Kennedy, you knew who was responsible for pulling the trigger, could you carry that burden of knowledge?....
Indeed, where it so that anyone in the centre of a historical "event" knew the truth, would they be able to keep the secret, for long after the events that shaped the world have happened, there would still be consiquences all those years later...Kennedys assination could still have repercussions...
