Such a shame,I have to be the one that is taking the kids to the yearly Fair because her money is all spent to fill a careless lawyer's pockets. As usual,I will probably not have one,but will get my kids anyway,just alot of added stress on life and also their poor little hearts...

Sorry to hear about the your troubles. At least by you taking the children to the yearly fair, it will give them those special memories of things they did with dad. Children are much stronger then most people think!

Actually friend,if it was up to the ex,I wouldnt be able to see them...she is just trying to get custody so she can move and change their school that they are presently going to. I am so tired of fighting though,it has been three years since I was divorced and constantly going thru turmoil over someone else's unhappiness is riduculous.

I have custody of my two daughters and have had since they were 4 and 6 now 14 and 16. I did not give a dime to a lawyer. Giving money that my children could use to a lawyer was not going to happen.
There are times and there are people who should pay a lawyer to do all the work, absolutely. As all the court stuff is not easy and should be done by someone who knows the system and knows what they’re doing.
I am not that person I was not going to trust my children’s future to a lawyer I don’t know and a system that back then, was anti-male when it came to the custody of children.
