It really is too bad Trigs but its going to get worse before it gets better...breaks my heart really I never though I would move from Mex.

I should know. I spent 10 months in Alberta, and snow and ice were on the ground from mid-September through April. Sheesh! Drivers in Three Hills had to take their batteries out of the car and store them in the house until they used the car again. And water had to be trucked in, because there was something screwy about the water in Three Hills. I got deathly sick three times that year, with 105 degrees temps. Thanks, but not no thanks. Not doing it again.

Unfortunately that is true and we are having terrible crime all over the country.
Just keep on mind than there is not perfect place. Crime, drugs... are everywhere, saddly even in Canada.
However –said before- we will overcome that, we have to or we would make a chaos in the North American continent to start with. Because of many people wanting to migrate to USA and Canada as first options and I am talking about legal and illegal ways for poor and rich people.
Whole wealthy families have migrated to USA and from there they are taking care of their business in Mexico whom eventually might not return to Mexico.
I want and I wish and I hope: Mexican ´people to stay and live in harmony in Mexico and that is why I will always ask to anyone for solutions.
Biased views of Mexico and legal and illegal immigrants will help nothing to make Mexicans to return and to live in their Mexican land.
Yet, Mexico has many wonderful places to enjoy as Cancun and those places will ever be there as there will be good mexican people as in Canada or any place.

I live very close to the Canadian capital (closer than NYS capital) and enjoy the friendly terms we have with Canada

As Europe came up with the Euro ,maybe we need to look in this direction as well.
we would be a market to compete if we had one money similar to the Euro..
I am not an economist only a lowly tradesmen....
but I am smart enough to know what we have been doing is not working so well ...time to try something new ...like working as one instead of many..

I am afraid even after Calderon is gone the situation will be very much the same for some time and btw it is not only Calderon mess and it is not only Mexican mess, unfortunately.
If there is a market for drugs then there will be providers, sadly.

well that's it ....the market for these products is huge in this country as well as Canada.....the farther north you go the more money to be made.I am afraid even after Calderon is gone the situation will be very much the same for some time and btw it is not only Calderon mess and it is not only Mexican mess, unfortunately.

However the local annual crops of weed at this time of the year is moving products south for the next 3 to 4 months to the bigger cities locally
