montecito: You're right on the mark ODG. People have trouble accepting a judgement. If it isn't the outcome they want, they go into conspiracy theory mode. DNA can be transferred as well as fingerprints. It happens all the time. In the U.S., prison life isn't easy BUT you get "3 hots and a cot". From what I'm hearing who knows if she had a hot meal or a hot shower.
It'll be interesting to hear the conspiracy theories when the Conrad Murray trial is over. I watch the trial every day and it's still the Prosecutor's presentation.

That's an extremely unfair comment. People are entitled to an opinion,and even some of the American press way back were concerned as to her guilt.
So much was and still is wrong with this case,but we unfortunately will never get to know the truth . Too many lies were told from the outset. If I was innocent of a crime I certainly wouldn't try to incriminate someone else as Miss Knox did.

You said now she has been found innocent the conspiracy theories start. Well I am making my mind up on the evidence I have read about and what I have seen on T.V.
I believe it was her defence council and people back i Seattle that actually talked about conspiracy theories when she was found guilty 4 years ago.

As I said before, I'd rather not comment any further on this for two reasons (1) I'm not an expert who has it all figured out; (2) I'd rather not get people angry with my posts so I will respectfully run away from this thread..

No contradiction on my part.I responded to your comment about people not accepting the judgement and mention of a conspiracy theory. That, in my opinion, was not an opinion, but a put down for those that are concerned about justice for Meredith Kercher.
As usual we will agree to disagree,but I have noted your comments re Amanda Knox's behaviour since her release. Stinks doesn't it.

Something tells me if it was the girl from the US killed and the British girl tried for the murder a lot of people on this thread would have a different opinion.
Also the prosacution are appealing the decision so if she is found guilty again will you say "She was found guilty. Period!"???
