I have been trying to quit smoking now for at least 3 months each day.
every day i get up an say ."this will be my first smoke free day" to no avail . but finally !!! . .today is my second smoke free day . .
i quit for 5 years once . long time ago .. and i quit for 8 weeks just over a year ago . .
so this is the third time i have quit . ..and i hope its the last::peace:
It's 6 months for me and I was a 2 pack a dayer. And I just quit! Haven't cheated once. Best thing I ever did. One day at a time. Just say " I don't need one right now, I'll wait a bit" and just keep saying it. Good luck!

Its really tough to quit smoking...I smoked for about 2-3 years and then gave upfor a while started again..gave up in a month..this continued for a while..no My lungs are smoke free...IM A PROUD NON-SMOKER...you can do anything if u have a strong will!!

I wish you the best 3rd time round good on you at least you are trying and you will succeed. I gave up 8 years ago even now occasionally I get the urge it only last a few seconds and it's gone. Best thing I ever did heaps healthier and richer my home and me smells way nicer all good reasons to give up smoking
