I just noticed while checking mine, if you leave all the entries blank (unchecked) you won't be able to get mail from anybody. Or at least that is how it is worded there. Had to go add checks to a bunch of stuff. Maybe that's why only scammers get through.

So how would scammers get through, if that were the case?
Streams of scammers is the norm for many of us, women getting lots of mail and men hardly being approached at all is also fairly normal which is probably to do with the social etiquette of men doing the asking.
Get your bikini pics out, wkw, see if that makes a difference.
Not only women ,men get too, normally under their 30ies.- I used to mailed them, telling them, mail reached the wrong person, their mail, was intended for my son,he is around their age.Am not waste time anymore, just delete scammers.

I realise from your response, I wasn't very clear in my post.
Many of us are plagued by scammers. A dozen, or more a day sometimes.
However, women tend to be approached socially and genuinely more than men.
I think men have to make more effort in sending mail, to receive mail. Women are often inundated, so tend to be responsive, (or unresponsive) rather than proactive.
I'm trying to say to the OP he probably needs to send a lot of flowers/mail/ecards to get some responses, although contributing to the forums/blogs etc. helps with social contact enormously.
I only respond by mail, never sent back flowers or ecards on a dating site,(maybe done it twice),as i believe presenting real flowers face to face.- This is a non real one.-
I think scammers know how to hack into these sites and get around the filtering. I get them on singlesnet and you have to pay to contact free members on that site (and I don't pay). And I don't think the scammers are paying $15 to $25 a month to contact free members. But they are all half my age and easy to spot.
