yep and I ride with that knowledge, carefully, and as though every other vehicle on the road is out to get me.
I know I am not bulletproof, far from it, but for now it is my transport as silly me lent my car to someone and the returned it with a blown motor after having driven it knowingly without welsh plugs. Once fixed, never to be lent again

Interesting shape. Knowing what I pay for a new European car in insurance, I know that's going to hurt you with insurance... and that's beside the cost of the car...but you will own something unique.

I want to go over and LooK at one close up, drive it, see how I feel seated in it ...
then it has to be converted to rhd on top of other Aust safety standards ... and then yes insurance ...

I believe that, I just read the stats on the car. It was originally the Plymouth Prowler. Conversions are always a bit of a worry, you have to choose someone very reputable to do the work. I can see why the car appeals to you, but then you are limited by our speed limits... And you would want to take that car out and push it's limits a little.

I'd push its limits lots ..... they are twin turbo charged V6's ...
I am a motor mechanic by trade ... so i know what needs to be done ... there are some great conversion engineers in Melb that would convert this baby for me ....

My ex was in Street Machine years ago with an American conversion. That was his moment of fame. It was also the reason that my brother accepted the marriage.
All kidding aside, he always led me to believe that the best converters were in Sydney, but times would have changed.
Yes, it's a lot of money for a dream. However, it's your dream... So really it's up to you. I would probably take that down to Phillip Island and use the track. Although I am sure you have local tracks so you can push it a little.

I love my old girl, she keeps going and going and going, even my mechanic likes to work on her because she is so easy to fix when things go wrong. HEY it gets me to Melbourne on occasions........and back.

cause its difficult to work on. Ya gotta love the voyage of discovery when you go to pick up all the maccas wrappers, and find that wonderous new toy .. lol Shell, it's amazing what I find when I have the clean out, gold coins sometimes lol, MINE!!! They love emptying their school bags as soon as they get in the car Grrrrr, half eaten lunch, newsletters, notes.
I'm scared to clean it sometimes, she might get a fright and decide not to go anymore roflol plus she is my work horse, I don't have a tow bar so the only way I can do a yard cleanup is in the back of the wagon
