well..some are afraid to show their face, I think what really bothers me if anything would be the fake pictures and also when it is a picture of the person but it is so far away you can not make out what they look like,,also when the pictures have been up here for the last 4 years..lol...I know,, I know,,we all look the same as we did then as well..

right - I am just as wary of a few who have NEVER in 4 years change their main photo, but if they have new photos on their profile assortment they're prolly OK -not fake profiles
there are some reasons I have heard that some do not post a photo (work, security). I have thought of it myself, but I'd prefer people know who I am. The only thing that bothers me is when I plainly state that a user must have a photo to message me and they do not pay attention to that

A bad picture is not worth the effort of uploading. If you're going to upload a photo, at least make it worth it.

I can understand why a person might not want their photo on a dating site for all to see....work colleagues, family members, etc. There are some types of occupations where it would could cause problems in the job. But having said that, I still don't like to get emails from faceless people, and suspect that there could be some other reason for not having a photo.
Also they would have to write a very interesting mail to make me want to bother replying to a faceless person.

I decided to take my pic down because I did not want to be contacted with, ,,,,I saw your picture and I just had to reply,,,,,I thought I was taking a break
I still get emails from "people" that say oh your picture caught my attention and I just had to send you a email I think we can be great together blah blah blah ,,,

I met a CS member at one of the meets I attended. She never had a pic on the site and was on it for over a year. She was an absolute stunner. I asked her why she had no pic up and she said she would attract the wrong type. i.e. She wanteds someone to contact her from her posts and profile.
If we open our mind we never know what will be revealed to us.
P.S. Your photo is not clear and does not show me what you actually look like.
