Green Sleeves dummy guide to posting video's. (13)

Just thought I'd put this together, been meaning to do it for a while, for people who dont know how to embem video's into forum discussions, replies, posts, whatever.

Its really very simple.


Obviously you're going to have a video in mind that you want to share relevant to the topic being discussed, so, off you go to 'Youtube'

Type in your search term, in this case I looked for 'Connecting Singles'




Hit search and you'll get your results, for the sake of this I chose the first video, so, click on it.




Now, in the 'address bar' you will see the URL for this particular video that you are viewing...




Right click ON the address and in the window that appears click on 'COPY'.


Now, come back here, start a new thread or reply to a current thread.

First you type




Then, just after the bracket right click your mouse again and hit 'PASTE'




The URL of the video you have been watching will then appear




Then, after this you type in:


There should be NO spaces in the above line!






Alternatively, you can type, with NO spaces:



Then, click between the two bracket, where the red line is with left mouse button, followed by the right and again hit 'PASTE'




Click on 'Preview' to make sure the video posted ok, if you followed the instructions it should.


Happy days!


Hit 'Post New Thread' or 'Post Reply' and there you go.....

If at first you don't succeed........Cheat.

i copy the url or http from the top on the page search bar, not the one from youtube and then do what phoenix told you to do on the other thread and that works for me

thought i could copy nd paste the pics he had on the original thread, but that kinda failed big time

Just right click on the pic, scroll to properties and copy/paste the URL from the address. But you can only paste pics on a picture thread or a poll thread.

Waaaay over my head
