There are some great rates being quoted on the tv etc..but as Ive recently found out to my cost....READ THE SMALL PRINT very carefully. the " cheapies" are good if you never have to make a claim...or change your car....or.....!

I hear that in England, the insurance companies group accidents reported to them in packages and then sell these packages to solicitors for a certain price. The solicitors then contact the people and recommend they sue the insurance companies. The insurance companies just raise premiums to cover these claims while also making profit from the sales of information. So it is clear to see in England how people are being screwed. Not sure if this practice happens in Ireland or the legal position of doing this in Ireland!

its a bloody disgrace...

what pisses me off with them is u can have a clean licence, full no claims and once the car is a little more powerful they have full ability to charge u an arm and a leg..

people who drive like an a**hole do it no matter what they drive.
