I don't have a dog and ...but from what I can make out from dog people, it would be like me being asked to get rid of one of my kids.
They wouldn't have to love or like my kids as much as I do...but expecting me to be rid of them to make room for them isn't the person of my dreams and I think I would have picked up on that pretty fast too.

i cant understand why someone interested in chatting and meeting up wouldnt show a pic...unless they have every intention of remaining anon and never meeting up.

I shop in Derry whenever im up that way, i imagine 20-30 years ago i would never have ventured into Derry alone or alone with my young kids, but people are just people, i can take a bit of biased hate on the chin if it comes my way....sure arent i a dub..we are hated by most the country anyway.
I think the point you are missing Phoenix is the majority of the people in Derry are moving on.
People Like witty live their lives daily in Derry and its insulting to her to tell her "go read a blog someone who lives there writes"

I agree Derry is quite left behind, and a lot of Derrys income comes from tourism...so congrats on supporting violence that will actually keep vistors away.
If they whacked in a train from Dublin to Derry I personally would be delighted would only give me an hour to my own personal heaven.

Some people in the country have community wells and some have personal ..some are connected to water the govt connected, not all are paying or will pay for water.
People outside of cities also pay less for property than in say Dublin ...
The price of property in dublin lets use for an example is often double or more that of a modest 3 bed on a couple acres somewhere less populated of course means the bigger stamp duty tax paid to govt when bought..yes we have hospitals close...and noise..and no bogs to get our own fuel and one road of 100 houses here pay 100 times the tax one dude with his 15 sheep does in the country on the same size piece of land..so you get what you live with.
So this added stamp duty for their home...(and property tax)You could say should cover the installation of water and waste services cos people in cities have no options or control over where they get theirs from either.
