The American prison system makes the British one seem like Paradise, he has spent 8 years in Paradise now he will see out the rest of his days in hell.

Abu Hamza fought so hard to not be extradited and stay in this country because he knew that if tried and sentenced here he would be sent to a holiday camp for an unjustifably short period of time. To be incarcerated in a US prison will not be a picnic. They do take a harder line on crime and particularly serious crime.

I, for one, am glad its been deemed appropriate for him to be tried in the US. The hatred he incited was abhorrent, though funny how he hated this country so much and wanted to do it so much damage and yet was happy to live here reaping all the benefits.

Just a parasite, a leech and good riddance to bad rubbish!

That said, the way the system works in this country and the way we cow-tow to the unsavoury types in a bid to appear accommodating, flexible and a defender of equality and diversity is largely to blame. And then we complain when someone takes advantage?

roll eyes doh

I can imagine the UK's negotiations with the US head banger
