fast_and_furious: is it ok to feed Scottish terriers some of ur own food
technically no but it depends on what you are feeding him/her, some scotties have dicky tummies and it can give them diarrhoea amongst other things

yeah, its a complete dog food. dry food is better for their teeth in the long run unless you brush them

hes a scottie, wont do too much damage lol just give him dry food and he will be grand, make sure you dont overfeed him though

you are feeding a Scottie not a wolfhound lol there should be no need to feed him twice a day unless you really want to. look at the guidelines on the bag, it will tell you how much he should be fed for his weight. he should be around the 8-10 kg mark but of course there's variation in the breed. I posted a link for maddog a while back for his jack russell about body condition scoring but if you put it into google it will pop up, ideal is 3 out of 5 anything more than that is overweight.

assuming it's an adult dog, if it's a pup it's a whole different ball game
