I had a very nice 8month relationship with a guy from leeds.
Saw him once every 2 weeks. Worked out very well til he talked about moving here and I ended it.

sounds like my own story with a guy from Limerick a few years ago!
I loved the thrill of flying down to Shannon to see him every fortnight, or him coming to see me the odd weekend!
Then after 6 months I realised that the bit I looked forward to the most was packing a bag and going off for a weekend....not hanging out with him!
So I ended it.
I would do long distance again though as I am not the "needy" type who needs to see the other person everyday! Next time I would question the "whys" a bit more so I didn't end up hurting anyone again!
Mariannette: Limerick is crazy far.....nearly as easy to go to the UK as there.
I loved Limerick city....it gets so much bad press but it is really cool

Well to be able to hold a relationship with someone from another country really says something for the people involved.Must be a real bond there , I wouldnt knock it, Id admire it !!
