So what's the deal with the Leveson Inquiry into the media in UK?? dunno

Cost millions to run, much needed pulling into line of the media, lots of high profile people caught blatantly breaking the law - then the PM drops a huge bucket on it??

What's all that about? frustrated

What's the general feeling on the streets? confused

Predicatble? Some of the close friends and business associates of the PM involved? Would that have anything to do with it? dunno

Hi steve0 wave think the inquiry has shown that the press or - the owners of the press - are very powerful people. They can make or break Governments, and even the law? very mad

Steve, they closed the News of The World, an institution in the UK as far as newspapers go and got rid of all the staff. Two months later, they introduced the Sunday Sun. Murdock himself is untouchable. These are the king makers nowadays. sigh
