I will begin with just three of the wonderful amenities we are lucky to have in the glorious county of Kildare.
A day out at the National stud and Japanese gardens.
The Curragh of Kildare for fun and games, hiking or take in a bit of horse racing, at the Curragh, Naas or Punchestown.
The K Club for Golf, a meal and/or just relax in the oppulent surroundings.

I was out for a jog in the Curragh last weekend - lovely spot, although I nearly broke my leg off a swing some kids had put up. Couldn't quite afford dinner in the K though.

Stunning " Slieve League " Carrick --the highest sea cliffs in ireland ( images of this are often used for the TV ad's promoting Ireland by the Irish Tourist board ! )
Glencolmcille for the gorgeous beaches --especially " Silver Strand Beach " and for the magnificent scenery !
" Harvey's Point " for a special dinner --gorgeous surroundings -and a lake outside with swans ! 5 star treatment all the way
Some brilliant posts there folks, an I have been to quite a few of them and have to agree they are all impressive. Just lets us all know how lucky we are to live on this wonderful island and how much we can see and do here.

im dying to go to mayo.a woman i work with is from castelbar ..an old friend from here lives there and my neice is studying in the college ..so im making it my new years res/ to go in 2013...

go for it sharina..we are only 3 hrs away now and the roads are good now too , Im from Castlebar , make sure you give yourself a few days to travel around though

what do you want...a trip to vue in liffey vallley... even i dont go there so im not recommending it .
yes my top 3 would be the phoenix park Zoo. Croke park.. and Kilmainham Goal... but powerscourt is fantastic..
