I am in Ireland until the 15th of January. I would like to find someone that might like to rent a car and tour around with me. Preferably a woman, this might be a fun date. ;-) Send me an email if you are interested!

Forgot to add: I am a writer and photographer from the USA, so I intend on making a lot of stops for pictures and to appreciate Ireland's beauty. I am not so interested in the typical touristy places.

Oh, and there might be other, non-Irish people on here that might like to adventure as well. So Now I have it in both forums. Thanks.

You should check out the thread in the Ireland forums, it is pretty funny. Even if I don't find a taker, it was worth the post!

You got a real dose of Irish humour. grin

Enjoy your trip, it's a beautiful country and the majority of people are welcoming and helpful.

Thanks! I have loved my first two weeks here, want to explore more than the distance between Tallaght and Dublin now. ;-)

Looking forward to meeting people too, just not sure how to go about it or where to go to find quality people...

Hard to find that in the few weeks you're here, if you would stay for a while the best thing is to join a club, organisation etc. Just be good humoured and open-minded and start chatting to the locals in the pub. handshake

I wish I could, but I plan on coming back in May. I have to go back to the states for my little girls birthday, so I am getting in what I can. I have had a great time meeting people so far, haven't been to any pubs but Whelans. I am planning on fixing that tomorrow though and the rest of this week. ;-)

Thanks for your tips! Maybe I'll see you in one. :-D
