As long as the body has water the tear ducts will generate tears. They're what lubricate the eyes after all.
It might be theoretically possible but you would be on the brink of death or dead due to dehydration.

I generally fall asleep before I can find that answer out.
Once we have cryed for a longer period of time.. the tears just stop since we have gotten rid of some of the emotion that made us want to cry in the first place.
I don't really know... just a idea.

I don't believe we ever run out of tears ~ you can fill an ocean with tears as long as you're alive. 
Only when it doesnt hurt anymore, do the tears stop fallong.....
