Well for starters confidence in a forum is like worthless, any one can be confident behind text. LOL And how is putting down the one you like confident? Confidence is knowing you will succeed not shouting out “I like so and so and I will get her”, that’s more along the lines of conceded, ya know.

dont get me wrong my crush already knows i like her it just seems like every time i need help it always come down to the same thing be confident tell her ladys dont like men thats not confident well i am confident i was just trying to show maybe the wrong way what ive been told is confident so if i made anyone mad sorry just was tring to make a point not tring to be conceded.if you wasnt one that told me that confidents is always the way to go then you wouldnt understand sorry if you took me wrong

Sometimes it's not hiding, it's waiting. Rich and I knew for a very long time that we were attracted to one another before anyone in CS knew. We wanted to make sure we were really committed to it and not proclaim to all only to recant after a week or a month. It's a way of making sure you don't hurt or embarrass the other person if it doesn't work out. Unfortunately, some on CS find great pleasure in the demise of others' relationships. JMO

Duce, I agree with you for the most part. If someone was shy, it would take a certain amount of confidence to get the nerve to say, I like you. I have never really been shy, but have had to build my confidence up in order to say things from time to time. I have also found my special woman in my life (nostres59840) and we are working on pulling it all together. Like Rich & Butterfly, I also waited a bit to let everyone know. It wasn't the confidence thing, it was respect for Janet. I didn't want to blurt her name out and put her on the spot without finding out if she felt the same. I don't feel concete has anything to do with it. Kevin

You can be confident, and thats very good in a man, but at the same time showing or expose your feelings to someome, without being sure what the other person thinks its not fair for both sides.
Thats why some people here prefer to make it "secret" , its like testing to see how the other person reacts.

thank you see if i like someone i shouldnt have to hide it me and my crush are going to start as friends to see where it goes and im fine with that its the way it should be.but i dont think i should have to hide the fact i like someone i am a very outspoken person if its on my mind i say it but i can be shy at times to does that make me unconfident
