RE: only 15 days till the wedding!

Best of luck Anita, Kevinwine

Ever Wonder....

just what you have meant in someone else's life? I guess I just went about being me and didn't always take the time to think about what I mean to someone else. I try to be good and help people, but never put too much thought into it until yesterday. I had a long discussion with an old friend and found out a lot of what I did and said had a huge impact for the good in her life. How about you?

RE: All I Want........

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS a woman that I can get to know, maybe even eventually fall in love. Then we can be happy in life and spend the rest of our lives dancing UNDER the stars. Kevin

RE: I think I'm doing the right thing

10 tears is a long time mike. I am proud of you bro. I think you are doing the right thing and although you may be devestated, feel free to mingle yourself and see if that holds true for you also. She may want to see if others may be right, maybe you should too. Kevin

RE: Honesty?

I try to base my honesty on fact. But in a case where I didn't know the facts I would base my honesty on what I believed to be true. Example, Did kennedy get murdered? yes, I believe that he was based on the facts that I know.

RE: horrible mistake

Stacy, I concider you a great friend and hate to see you leave. I hope whoever this is, understands, for you a fine individual and a great friend to many. Don't leave because of that if that is the reason. If not, I wish you well and don't be a stranger. Kevinkiss

RE: Santa Baby ......

Well, after my last CS encounter, and the fact that I found out my daughter was going to be gone Xmas (so I'll be alone for the first time)things do look up. I just talked to an ex gf/date from 20 yrs ago. I met someone on CS that is best friends with my ex! She is happily married now with kids, but just to talk to her again was a blessing and definitely lifted my holiday spirits. Her Gf on CS is cute too! So there is good out there you just have to find it. Kevin

RE: Hi All, I'm the new guy.

welcome, have fun!

RE: Ok Guys need your help on this one !!!!!!

Bree, I love kids so no that would not be a factor. I once dated a girl whose ex had nothing to do with the son. I tought him how to play guitar, showed him a lot about being good and how you get more with honey... so I think you should find a man that will love you and your children and as AB said, be careful. Kevin

RE: being here only a short while ive noticed

I was sleeping, hello

Is honesty always the best policy?

we all have a past. You too. Sorry about having to go through whatever you did with your ex. I was speaking of myself. I am not in anyway proud of my past, but I am thankful it has made me the man I am. Kevin

Is honesty always the best policy?

In this case it was an something that happened 15 years ago and since then I have changed. I am in no way ever going to relapse and revisit my past. I have taken the test of time and been through uncountable tragedies including death of a partner, and my father, breakups/divorce, stress, unemployment, being hit by a car and almost killed. If a man can handle these kind of misfortunes and still have a possitive outlook on himself as well as life I believe he has changed and for the better. I embrace honesty in my life and believe that it is essential in a relationship. So, after we began dating a month or so, I had opened up about my past. I was dropped like a hot iron. I don't blame her, she has her own reasons I assume. But was being totally honest about the whole situation the right thing to do. You mentioned details. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would want details. Just what are you facing, is this something that you could put behind you as they have, etc. But in all fairness, the other party has just as many feelings and emotions tied to this relationship as you have, so wouldn't you at least discuss the issue? I have seen a side of this person that I am thankful for having seen. Although I feel she is a spectacular woman, I believe honesty and communication are a must in a relationship and think that maybe these were things that she would rather avoid. Kevin
