I remember a time prior to my marraige, I had a crush on a girl for the longest time and she knew it. We had gone our own ways then prior to my marraige she showed up showing intrest in a "taken" man. I turned her down. Another time I was single for a long period of time, I dated and whatnot, the minute I had found a girlfriend, women were coming out of the woodwork. The list goes on. Why is it some people want what they cannot have. Is it their ego? Are they playing games trying to see if they "still got it"? Do they think a last minute effort will make you change your mind? Do they want to make you slip,fail, at loyalty? What gives?

No what I am saying is that in order to have peace you need to have the unruly or criminal element know there would be concequences for their actions. Think of it as a job, if you went in there and started destroying the place, you'd be fired right? Well in this peaceful world we speak of if someone comes in and decides that they can steal what they want, shoot who they want, etc. Then they must face a justice system that will enforce a proper sentence. Not just a slap on the wrist.Kevin
I'd say there is a lot of avenues to be travelled before this could ever take place. Not tolerating violence amongst each other would be one. Ideas such as the 3 strikes and your out, need to be enforced. Theres too many repeat offenders (in USA anyways) that get put back on the streets to do the same or even worse crimes. Breaking and Entering used to be a serious offense, Hell,now teens are doing it without hardly any consecuences because they are minors. Probation as a sentence, thats a joke to most people. The justice system is so overwhelmed that a person just shows up (if that) and says he's doing fine and is free to go. Is that a sentence for a crime? Not in my opinion. Michigan had a law at one time if you were caught with an illegal handgun it was an automatic 2 yrs. in prison. I wonder if anyone actually served 2 yrs. My point, let the people know they will be held accountable for their crimes and that it will be enforced is a start to world peace. Kevin

I had something happen in '03. I was working at the end of my driveway when a drunk driver swerved over and hit me and kept driving. I could only regain focus to see it was a lt. blue car. thank god there was a witness. The whole time I was laying there I thought about my daughter and family. I now view life in general with a whole new respect. Things must happen for a reason. Kevin

I began collecting autographs for my daughter and she knows that someday they will be hers. She loves it! Her friends stop by and she will ask to show them every once in awhile. She's almost a teen now and I have probably 200 autographs for her. So yes, do it! Kevin
Southern Yankee, when I first moved to northern Michigan with my Gf, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, after 1 yr. of bedside I too was there when she passed. also with my father 1 yr. later. I believe if I had not done that either time I'd of had my regrets. It became part of my grieving process. I could say I was there until the end. My prayers go out to you. Sorry i'm not a lady but: Personally, I don't feel that way when I go on a date, I like to have fun get to know one another, and enjoy ALL the conversation. If you take the time to listen, you can really enjoy the company much better. If you focus on the questions and it irritates you, it leads me to think, you are either impatient, out just to get some, or not trying to really get to know her. I don't know you and don't want to judge you, I am only going with my thoughts from what I believe. Kevin
