Kinda both. if you really don't know what is going on and you only know part than you think it is the truth. Not always is everything you believe to be real is the truth of what is really goin on.

I think it's easier to just define dishonesty as doing or saying something with the intent of misleading another person or evading the issues that you know they are interested in.
With that in mind it should be easy to recognize a lack of honesty.

I try to base my honesty on fact.But in a case where I didn't know the facts I would base my honesty on what I believed to be true. Example, Did kennedy get murdered? yes, I believe that he was based on the facts that I know.

To me, i believe that honesty is the bases of truth,not fiction.Ialso feel that honesty is the best policy,on certain situations.You want someone to trust you,and know that you are not Half-Steppin,tell it like it is,and then you don't have to stop and try to remember everything you said,A lie is a lie,White lie or Black lie.
