What is a buddy?

The word friend can lose
its meaning if a friend
is not friendly with
their friend.
What value am I
to you and what
value am I to you.
If I need you
wouldn't be nice if
you needed me?
A buddy is someone
that you share with.
Something happened
to me and I wanted
share it with you.
I like being with
and don't want to
be a stranger to you.
I would hope you feel
the same way with me.
There is this problem
that I have and I wanted
to talk to you about it.
I just like talking
to you because you are
my buddy.
If I wanted to be alone
I wouldn't have asked
you to be my buddy.
Should I go elsewhere
to share something that
is important to me?
I like sharing and talking
and being with you
and I want that back from you.
Don't be afraid to tell
me how you feel.
That is why I am here
for you.
When you share with me
it lets me know it is ok
to share with you, too.
I value you and your
time spent with me.
You don't have to say anything.
Just be there for me and let
me be there for you because
thats what buddies do.
