Freeandlooking: How many of you can sew a good stitch?
I can do most things, but when I catch something which I could sew, I leave it as it looks so bad I might as well buy another clothing item. This made me think, what advice can you give to someone who admits to not sewing. Is there a knack to it?

I can sew a little and truly would like to learn more, but it takes time to practice and also helps to have a good teacher.
