I could agree with you more Z ~ that's exactly the way it should be done.
Remove all you had written on your profile prior to meeting your guy ~ and replace it with something more appropriate and undeniably stating you are no longer available.

Then you will have no reason to worry about men not getting it, and continuing to contact you for anything other than chat or friendship.

There is a certain etiquette to online dating ~ but most is common sense and having a sensitivity to the man/woman in your life and their needs. It's important to instill trust and security, that you are no longer looking.. and are unavailable to others.

Wow this sure has hit on a nerve with some!! no offence but this post was not to upset peeps just a curiosity to why that is all??? And i know i have made it clear in my pro that i am not interested so i dont need guidance with this one thankyou and as far as trust is concerned then that is definitely a must in any relationship i agree and that is something that is given on both sides and if no trust then no relationship!!! We both trust each other implicitly and every single guy i hve ever spoken to on here knows who i am interested in and so does Dave and that is all that matters. You got this post all wrong which makes me sad in a way cos it just shows how hot tempered peeps can get over something that was supposed to be light hearted! lol

I have found that I get much more attention now that I changed my profile to not looking. I don't mind getting messages and flowers just as long as they respect me and my profile and if not then bye bye.

It annoys me when someone dosn't take the time to read my profile thouroughly

Yes i agree with not reading the profile cleary Katine but then if i am honest prob most peeps dont but i will say one thing the reason that i responded to Dave when i got an email from him was because he did take the time to read and responded to my interests..........which meant he had read the pro and as far as this thread is concerned i was hoping that the guys would state why they "chance their arm" lol and i mean in a general sense as i am sure there are plenty women out there that has experienced this......
