WittyandWise: AGE and internet dating!

Do you rule out dating or chatting to someone based on their age?

In particular on profiles with no picture, you may be surprised, maybe they don't look are feel their age I have been wondering when people see my age do they rule me out before seeing or knowing me, but I accept that I do the exact thing re men, even more so on line. So what about you?

I used to think that I would wouldn't get on with men who were a good bit older than me, but I know now that that's not necessarily the case. I do find, in general, that it's easier to talk to men who are older than me. They have more life experience, etc, however, men who are 10 years or more older than me don't usually want the same things in life as I do, so we wouldn't work in the long term.

I would probably reply to them if they contacted me, and would be honest with them. I don't think I could be with someone much younger than me. I'd feel bad.

Most seem to like to date people around their own age, with some liking older but few mentioning liking to date younger. That's a very brief summary typing

I don't like to date older. gotta go joy
