Do you rule out dating or chatting to someone based on their age?
In particular on profiles with no picture, you may be surprised, maybe they don't look are feel their age I have been wondering when people see my age do they rule me out before seeing or knowing me, but I accept that I do the exact thing re men, even more so on line. So what about you?

Internet dating and age: I have no problem chatting with people of different ages (mainly posters) but age does matter for me in dating.
In RL: Character/impressions comes a lot more in when you run into someone and you get chatting, I seem to end up chatting to younger guys a lot more than older guys on a night out.
i dont date, so age and looks are immaterial...
a good sense of humour (not as common as your lead to believe) and a keen intellect are the touchstones for me...
sure looks are nice, but so is a lamborghini....

Hi K, have to admit meeting someone out is totally different and age is less relevant, as you see the person and their personality, you know whether you connect or not. I have age settings on my mail now, did not used to but saves me having to say sorry but....

I don't assume people have a hidden agenda, when I joined here I did not put a picture up for a while, that was down to feeling comfortable and confident enough to do so, I have displayed pictures in the past, but choose not to currently but will when I want to. I know some have hidden agenda but if I was to assume all do, then I might be missing out as might others with me

Yes it is not all about looks, but it is all about attraction, regardless of what that attraction is based on

I wouldn't date any woman under about 25. In my experience they're usually just after one thing. Sorry to have to generalise like that and I know I shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush but that's my experience.

Long term elationship wise, someone around my own age and similar life situation i.e. kids. I have a thing for single dads lol

I am unique If you go out with someone about your own age you have more to talk about generally.....like HB orange ice-pops and when Abba won the Eurovision. If someone is of a different generation I don't know what you'd talk to them about.
Around the 30 to 40 age range for me.
Although I did date someone who was 41 for a few months when I was 30.
