RE: Women who control us

Mornin' MJ....

I genuinely think women make better bosses, having had a few, they have a 'humanity' that many male bosses lack, so its only a short step to accept that women in government would be 'more predisposed' than men to seeing a fairer society as the goal to work toward, whereas, men would be inclined to be more self-serving and offering political platitudes to secure office and 'power'...these are 'general' observations by myself and dont constitute 'facts', call it opinion if you will...

RE: happy xmas 2013

Recon i fancy doing the soup kitchen this year, we all got it easy dont ya think, family get-togethers, nice warm houses, presents under the tree, big ole turkey dinner and figgy puddin' for afters, telly in the afternoon, a cozy nap on the nauga-hide sofa....yeah, easy life...

....unless your out on the streets living rough under the arches...

yep, recon this year will be good to put something back as a thankyou for all the good thats come my way this year...

dunno how many caps, but i do know, honourable sportsman and family man, never got a red card in all his time playing professional football...soccer pundit and the face of walkers crisps...
some people are worthy of admiration, others are just common wastes of space who fall down at the slightest gust of wind and cry foul...
Gascoigne, yawn ...there, i've said my piece...

now pass me the peanuts!....

RE: Your new lover is Fantastic in bed

...not good MJ...

She needs to be a cake making goddess if shes gonna win my heart...grin ....

my definition of 'fantastic in bed' is if she doesn't hog the duvet on a cold night and she doesn't leave biscuit crumbs in bed...

Curry....

Chans in briar hill galway...honest, its one of three great reason to go eat in galway...the Tulsi indian in the centre of town is the second and the third is Mc'donnaghs down towards the spanish arch, real catch fish and chips that are hand cut, none of this 'out of a bag twod', though gotta say we have a bloody good chinese in ennis called bamboo garden, up on the lifford road, damn good satey, but no outstanding indians, otherwise this thread would never have happened...

NOM NOM....yay ....

Curry....

lifes mad and good thanks K, never been as busy since becoming un-employed, but none of it paying YET, sure, at least im kept busy with career development, music, and eating casual garage labour...
if im up / down (wheres kilkenny?) your area ill be sure to send up a flare to signal my arrival...(i cant mail ya)...
JTK recommends jumbo as well, looks like the place to go so it does...

Curry....

Thanks K, (hope you is keepin well hug ), thanks for the heads up, its a great way to travel the length and bredth of ireland, by van, curry, cappuccino cake and pepsi max...

i couldn't ignore this....

rolling on the floor laughing

Curry....

thats in the 'curry book' now, cheers M....

Curry....

As a fellow who likes his food (no, really!), i dont mind in the least if you post the names of good curry joints around the republic...
generic 'by the numbers slosh' is everywhere, good slosh, well now thats a whole other matter, money is tight and i dont want to spend it on stuff the dogs at home would turn their noses up at...
so, good quality, good portions, sensible prices, off ya go...

for the record....

chans (chinese) in briar hill, galway, effin magic...

bindia (indian), punches cross, limerick...(now if the woman who ran that was available, i could be temped away from this single mans life)...

theres only one indian in mitchelstown (kark), and its the best reason to stop the car and get out....

Mallow (kark), near mc'donalds, down a side street, find it, take a camping matress and never leave....

"always keep a couple of spoons and some crockery in the car, cos ya never know"...

cheers

RE: Getting blocked....

freedom of choice, just like in real life....

people look at your profile, perhaps based on a picture and once the 'free text' has been read decide "nope, not for me", its nothing to get bothered about...
of course, it helps if your not 'love-lorn' and have a life away from here, why dont you take up music for a hobby, women go mad for guys who play guitar (not bass though, in spite of them being the coolest dudes), and dont be a keyboard player either, you'll just get the attention of the local vicar asking you to play for the sunday congregation, a singer is good, but give the 'shane mc'gowan' look a miss though, and as for a drummer, well, ill just say 'spinal tap' and you can figure the rest...
all joking aside, the best thing to do is accept you wont be everyones cup of tea and move politely on...
i have plenty of women look at my profile and they say absolutly nothing, now if one were to write or send a token of undying love, well, i might take that as a sign, but otherwise, its just window shopping...thats the simple fact of internet dating, if it dont work, try real life...

RE: How to Pick the Right Wife

@ Anajna...

Societal changes and shifts have created homogenized man, and though i hate the feminism threads with a passion, (and by choice avoid them), female emancipation has played a significant part in just that, i would not be saying it is ostensibly wrong, it just is what it is, progress...

and its 'yoghurt', pronounced yo-gurt...

as WS said, welcome to the forums...

RE: Kit passed her NCT test

before i leave, if your ever in limerick, Bindia, across from patrick punch pub in punches cross, probbo the best indian in munster, only 14 dishes on the menu, but they custom the dish to your liking, pure savage it is...utterly recommended lad...maximun nom!....

RE: Kit passed her NCT test

Ah, thats good news there pedro, sure, take the toyota over to america when you move out there, you could do route 66, that would be one to stretch the cars legs (so to speak), so when do you go to america, where are you moving to?...Im going to live in India, but not for about another 10 years, probably find myself a nice indian girl, a patch of land and see out my retirement in the land of curry and call centres...

RE: Interview

A / you get the job....

B / compitance and commitment, a team player but capable of indipendant action, preparedness for seeing a task through from inception to completion, customer/client focus, profit awareness and generation, time concious but not a clock watcher, work flexibility...

....not to much to ask for...

RE: Who ll replace him

barney the dinosaur...

...or maybe 'the crankies'...

frankly i couldn't care less, but for all the football (is that what its called here) supporters, it would be nice to have someone who speaks the language you understand, whether english or irish...

RE: Identify The Song

ive tried to find a search engine for you, but im afraid my internet is to slow...there are search engines that will find song and artist if you give what lyrics you know/have, but some will charge for the service...
theres a man on this site, spanish-sun, a mine of information the man is, its worth getting his attention, id say he will have the answer before you have finished asking the question...
